I have been a patient for four years. I was very hesitant when making my first appointment as I had not been to a dentist for years. There was no judgement nor lecturing. Explanations are always understandable. Am always greeted by my first name as soon as walking into the office. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Will never go to another dentist.
I had the most wonderful experience at Fiddlehead Dental! The front desk staff is warm and inviting, and my hygienist, Allie, was professional and thorough during my cleaning. Dr. Chuck is a class act and is always ready to make you laugh on cue. I highly recommend Fiddlehead and their dental care to anyone who is searching for a provider.
The good people at Fiddlehead Dental have been talking care of my teeth for a long time. They provide great dental care with a personal touch. I would give 5 stars but they don't accept my insurance.

Who can say they love going to the dentist? Well I sure can, because Fiddlehead Dental and all their staff make the appointment/visit feel effortless. EVERYONE is so nice, warm and welcoming, the appointment starts on time and the dreaded teethies cleaning and exam goes smoothly and efficiently. Then on your way out you talk with all the folks that run the front end of the office (and we all know they are the true heartbeat of the office) they are so friendly and helpful and you can tell they love what they do! I absolutely love Fiddlehead Dental!
I’ve honestly never had a bad experience with Fiddlehead Dental or any of the wonder, curtious, professional staff. Through the strong leadership of Dr Chuck and Dr Linda the office never fails. They have always treated meas if I am the only person in the building. Personal investment in their patients is their greatest strength. So much so that I’ve almost routed for the Cubs once or twice….definitely not 3 times though
As a longtime patient of Fiddlehead Dental, I have always appreciated the friendly atmosphere, high professional standards, and state-of-the-art care. During the past two years I pursued an alignment and cosmetic project that took longer than expected. Fiddlehead led the way with encouragement, and clearly stated goals. I understood what was happening, and why, the entire journey. The final outcome exceeds ALL of my expectations. I'm thrilled, and can't stop smiling! They have my highest recommendation.

I have always had fear of dental work, yet I enjoy going to Fiddlehead because everyone is so warm and welcoming. Not only are they amazing in all that they do dental wise, but they make me feel like I’ma member of their family, actually contented for my overall well-being not just my mouth/teeth. They always remember things we spoke about last even if it had been many months since my last visit. I would recommend Fiddlehead to all!

If I could give Fiddlehead Family Dentistry more than 5 stars, I would! I have had the pleasure of receiving extensive cosmetic and functional dental work from the Fiddlehead folks in 2020, and recently in late February, 2023. Yeah, people rarely describe dental work as pleasurable, but that was my experience both visits, pleasurable and very effective. These procedures included whitening, bite correction, tooth reshaping, several crowns both front and back including an implant supported crown, detailed dental health diagnostics, a deep cleaning, a few filling replacements, and other stuff. Every single person I encountered at their office was professional, conscientious, and highly if not uniquely knowledgeable. I always felt I was in the hands of a master of their craft. Aftercare and follow-up has also been above and beyond. After I left their office, I received numerous casual comments on my newly sparkling smile. This is particularly gratifying as I am a public speaker of some notoriety. I am also totally blind, so it is by others’ reactions that I am made aware of just how striking my new smile is, although my teeth do feel better now than I can remember. Perhaps the most telling comment came from my brother whose vision is severely impaired. As we sat with family around a table playing a game, my brother, who was distracted by concentrating to read his own dice, chanced to glance in my direction. The sun must have glinted just then on my face or something, because he exclaimed quite uncharacteristically, “They really did a job on your teeth.” For my brother first to notice such a detail, and then to bother pointing it out, indicated definitively that the many hours I spent in the chair were worth every moment. “I love going to the dentist”…….says hardly anyone, ever. However, in the case of myself and my three young adult children, it is one hundred percent true! Fiddlehead Family Dental operates as a family. For as long as we’ve been patients (well over a decade!), every member of their team has treated every one of us as their own. When I walk in, I’m greeted by name. When I’m in a cleaning, quite often I’ll be greeted by one or more of the other employees who I haven’t seen in a while. I can always expect a great chat with Dr Linda or Dr Chuck, where we talk about our families and not my oral hygiene (unless we also need to talk about my oral hygiene!). I currently live over an hour away from the office since moving out of Vermont, but I don’t have one good reason to find a different dental office. And I don’t believe for one minute that I’ll ever need to. You won’t find a more family focused, friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy organization than Fiddlehead Family Dental.
Bottom line up front; I DO NOT like going to the dentist. I was faced with a recent transition to Fiddlehead and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone on the staff had a smile on their face and were very welcoming. It really feels like a family and home when you walk into the old hillside home in downtown Saint Albans. It’s like you were always welcome. My hygienist was lovely and kept me engaged during my visit. Lastly, kudos to the team behind the scenes in managing my dental insurance provider, that is not an easy task. Cheers to the good people at Fiddlehead and my new “canine” family!
As a patient of Fiddlehead Dental, I’m always impressed by the warmth and friendly atmosphere of the office. Dr. Chuck and Dr. Lynda, along with all of the staff, are always so welcoming, professional, and considerate. They are passionate about providing dental care to those in need, and are approachable and so easy to talk to. As a teenager I wore braces, but as I’ve aged my teeth had begun to shift. As a result, I’d become self conscious of my smile. I found I was smiling less, or would keep my mouth closed so as not to reveal my teeth. On a routine visit with Tiffany, one of the dental hygienists, I mentioned my desire to learn more about clear aligners to help improve my smile. Tiffany brought Dr. Lynda right over to talk to me and gave me a bunch of information. Before I knew it we had a plan and scheduled appointments. I was thrilled! I am so pleased with the results. Now, I love my smile. I’m grateful to have such a wonderful team of dentists and hygienists that truly care about my oral health and dental needs. If you’re looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend Fiddlehead Dental.
I feel like family, its that awesome. Ive been going to Chuck and Linda most of my adult life, they are wonderful people. The staff is kind and caring. A shout out to Kathy who is always generous with her words and that makes my day.
I've never had a bad experience going here for my dental care. The staff is warm and welcoming, and there is distinct family feel to the atmosphere that is incredibly rare in a healthcare setting. Some dentist offices judge or lecture their patients, but I've never encountered that here. They take a team approach to treating what is wrong, and each patient is looked at as a person and not just a clinical case. I used to go to a dentist closer to home, but I found Fiddlehead and the extra travel is something I've never regretted. For those of you who can't stand the dentist, Fiddlehead is your answer to that problem.

I drive all the way from Burlington to go to fiddlehead dental. Dr Chuck and Dr Lynda are hands down the best dentists I’ve ever met. Top tier at what they do and they treat you like you want to be treated. Real down to earth people here. What a blessing for the dental industry!!
Going to a dentist has never been a fun place to go to . Then I found Fiddlehead Dental and that all changed . The whole atmosphere left me calm , confident and ensured that they really cared about their clientele. Both Dr. Lynda and Dr. Chuck are great and everyone there makes you feel important . Now I enjoy going there as they met everything one would want . Great service , great people and a super atmosphere !!!! 😁
Dr. Lynda, Dr. Chuck and their staff did a fantastic job helping me out with an emergency broken tooth, they saw me that day, and took all the right steps to making sure I was fixed up with a new crown. Everyone on staff is friendly and professional and always go out of their way to make sure I'm comfortable.
Dr. Lynda, Dr. Chuck and their staff are amazing. Best family dentistry in VERMONT! The doctors, hygienist, and technicians are highly skilled, professional, GENTLE 🙂 and friendly! Dr. Lynda even saw my daughter for a dental emergency when the office was closed. The office is also very helpful when dealing with insurance companies, workman's comp claims and anything billing related. My family and I wont go anywhere else!
I changed over to Fiddlehead earlier this year for several reasons. I was very happy with my change . The people are friendly helpful and courteous. Also I have not had to wait for my appointment time or if so a short amount of time. Most importantly they do a great job and spend time explaining my dental problem and options that I have to resolve them .
It is very rare for everyone in the office including the dentist to want to know all the details of your life. It is even more rare for them all to remember and pick up where you left off 6 months later like you were there yesterday. For some people going to the dentist is a something to avoid doing, for us it is like going to visit family. Everyone is so upbeat, pleasant and happy, we have never had a bad experience in the few years we have been going. Dr. Chuck and Dr. Linda have been both upfront and honest with there recommendations without making you feel pressured. You leave the office with warm fuzzies about having your teeth cleaned.
Warm, friendly, funny and smart. What more could you want? You know they'll take the best care possible of your teeth.

I have been with Fiddlehead Dental for the last twelve years. Each and every visit has been a pleasurable experience, which is not something most people would say about a visit to the dentist. The staff is personable and greets you immediately by name. They remember details about your life and family and are genuinely interested in you as a person. Not once have I felt like a number and I have never been rushed through an appointment. Dr. Chuck and Dr. Lynda make dental work more tolerable through their calm and happy personalities. They truly are invested in you as a person, not just as a patient. I would highly encourage anyone to make Fiddlehead Dental a part of their healthy lifestyle!

I have been going to Fiddlehead Dental myself since I came to Vermont in high school. Since that time, my husband and both children have also been patients. Dr Lynda and Dr Chuck are more than just great dentists...they are friends. Dental work is my least favorite thing to have done, but I wouldn't have anybody else do it for me. Not only do we know the staff by name, but they also know us by name, in and out of the office. We would never hesitate providing their name as a referral.

My hygienist, Maggie, is great. She is efficient, thorough, friendly, and has delicate touch when performing cleanings. It makes the whole process of going to the dentist less stressful. I grew up going to a family-run dentist office. It was comfortable and reassuring knowing you weren't just a number. Since I moved to St. Albans, about ten and a half years ago, I was unsure I'd find a dentist with that same more-than-a-number feel. In Fiddlehead, I have found just that. Your hygienist becomes more like a friend (mine happens to be a very close friend), and when Dr. Chuck or Dr. Lynda come check in, they know/remember about you and your life. I recommend Fiddlehead to anyone in search of a dentist.

The whole Team at Fiddlehead are very professional and friendly. I have a lot of dental work to get done and they have made a plan for me to follow and check off at my convenience. I never feel rushed to get work done unless it is something they feel should be taken care of. Both Doctor Linda and Chuck know there profession very well and use up to date technology. I made the switch to Fiddlehead a few years ago and I am very happy I did.

This is the first time I experienced such a Home like environment - the way the entire office is built and organized. Staff is very professional and supportive in any ways. I am very pleased with the quality of my treatment because of highly skilled doctors and dental assistants, new technology and materials. I was given the detailed review of my teeth status with digital technology and thorough explanation of all my options and priorities. I also tried Whitening of my teeth recommended by Dr. Lynda. I just had my teeth cleaned by Jessie. She is amazing - pleasant, skilled, kind, understanding and thorough. My teeth feel wonderful. I do not have easy teeth to clean as I am older and I also have lots of crowns. But Jessie is patient and explains things as she goes. She has been cleaning my teeth for several years now. I credit her with keeping my plaque down, and mouth and teeth healthy. Thank you to Fiddlehead staff and Dr Chuck and Dr Linda. I am grateful for your care and concern.
